How much does the tailshaft stick out of the case?

    The TH400 with a 203 tailshaft sticks 1.5", iirc.

dont know about the 203 setup but when you convert 2x4 4l80 to 4x4 remove the plug on the 3 oclok position that has a pinhole in it . replace with 4x4 plug thats no hole. if not you will lose pressure in tranny and bun it up. i am doing a 4l80 to 205 setup and almost found this out the hard way. plug is about 3-5 dollers at dealer. its about the size of a dime. this is for the oil supply to the bearing in the tail shaft assbly that the yoke rides on. not needed in 4x4 app.

advanced adaptors has the gm part # for the 2 year only tail shaft for the 4l80 thats full length splines. but not sure its full as far as you need. call or go to there sit and see if thay offer a kit for this.

whent to there site and didnt find specific adaptor. www.advanceadapters.com
