I was all psyched up to see it, then I talked to my buddy who went to the premiere the other night here in the city. He said it sucked, it was like they got a different writer for this one. He said the effects and everything were really cool, but the storyline took a turn south.

I'm not that psyched anymore, and I thought the Matrix was one of the best movies of motion picture history...

I am not too surprised to hear that that seems to be the norm when they film 2 movies back to back part 2 and 3

realistically, even if the movie is a 'good' movie by most standars, it will still be viewed as a flop for the simple reason that it can never be as good as the original /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif. people have such high expectations because the original was so awesome, and theres no way any movie could really meet those expectations. just my 2 cents.

I just got back from seeing it and I had really high expectations. There was some crap in the movie that shouldnt have been there. Overall I feel they did an OK job, coulda been better though.

I saw it today. Its just my opinion, but my fav movies are the ones that reviewers call "flops". Reloaded is a sweet flick, I can't wait until revolutions comes out.

I saw it at 10:00 pm showing on the 14th... I thought it was great... Especially the fight scenes in this one. Good stuff... Usually I notice also that I seem to dislike what the reviwers like and like what they don't... Can't wait until revolutions comes out...

hey stop hijacking my thread! lol.

Oh well... i feel less of a person now that i've seen it. I feel i could have done something better in 2 hrs and 18minutes even if it was sitting my ass here on ck5.
Bassically... the entire movie was to show how agent smith "got into" the real world... fight sequence seemed WAY too fake. They tried WAY too hard with computers and whatnot to try and have a "cool" fight scene. Highway was pretty cool seeing all the cars flip and blowup. but overall i was extremely dissapointed.

Donated???????? WTF??? A movie that makes millions opening night needs donations????? Good for the movie industry, they're raping corporations now, too!

I wouldn't be surprised to find quite a few executives with brand new GM's...
