how big can you go on a 15x8 rim /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif
i dunno...shane74 runs 38.5 TSLs on 15x8 rims. Dunno if there is an official "maximum" or not...
Think he means width. I run 12.50 wide on my 15x8's, wouldn't go any wider than that.
12.5 is the max I would go also.
I agree, 12.50 on a 8" rim is the most I'd go.
My cuz has a 14.50 on a 15x8 and has had no problem whit it yet.
pretty much impossible to say if he meant hieght or width based on the original post. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif I would agree with the 12.5 on width tho...
so do you guys think it would be ok to run 38's
I know a few guys that run 15" wide ties on a 15x8
I would run a 12.50 wide 38 on an 8" wheel, but would step up to at least a 10" wheel for a 14.50-16 wide 38.
Tim at 4x4 Iron runs 38x12.5's on 15x8's with no problems as far as he has told me.
