Because on the Table Mesa outing, it turns out the swaybar disconnected itself :D

If anyone has a set of swaybar frame mount brackets/clamps (i.e. the C-shaped thingy that holds the bar to the frame), I'm looking to purchase a set...

Let me look when I get home from Tucson . I know there are a couple sets on my property .

The other alternative is the energy suspension pieces at any Autozone . I use those , which are thinner , and forces me to disconnect every trip out .

You could have mine, because I'm removing the swaybar permanently. I've been driving with it disconnected the last couple of weeks, and I can't tell a huge difference. I already drive cautiously on the road, so maybe that's why. Anyways, I drove up the mountains visiting Mom & Dad this weekend, and I'm just going to remove it from the truck.

I would send them to you for the cost of shipping if none of the AZ guys can help you out. I can't think it would cost more than $5 or $6, but they could probably use new bushings.

    Let me know.

I have the mounts with the lowing brackets if you want. They are almost new since the crew cab rode like crap no matter what. Let me know.

Well if you want some cadium plated ones , with near new poly bushings , I'll have them in the truck tommorrow at work .

Looks aftermarket , but I don't remember if I got these from Harley , or my other 83 frame .

I have stock spares in the backyard , but haven't pulled em .

Were the Falls running at all?

Related note: What do I need to do to join The Sheetmetal Gang besides add a tag line to my sig? :) I'm not scared of a few dents, but I'm not interested in building a Bluggy either...

I would love to put a D60/14B under my truck but time and, more importantly, money aren't going to allow that for several years. In the meantime, I'll hit some trails and have some fun. :)

As for the full body, I have a DD truck, but I still use the K5 as a truck too...hauling and especially camping, so while I love having a removable top and quick-disconnect doors, I'm also happy to be able to carry (and lock up) a ton of camping gear too (as historical re-creationist folks, we do not travel light when we camp!). The K5 is a fantastic combination of cargo capacity and off-road capability!
