Went wheelin today with a few friends. My buddy has a TJ with the Rock Ready 6". Found this old car to flex on. I was suprised as was he that I made it farther up than him and my rear shocks are 3" too short so I could have went farther /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif I told him I thought it was funny that my $600 lift did as good as his $2000 lift /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif Anyway here are the pics

Umm not to knock ya, but it doesnt look like the TJ is as far up as he can go. His rear axle isnt even flexxing yet. Just speaking from experiences, my friend has a TJ with a 4" Pro-Comp lift and 33s, and he ramps 1000 on a 25* ramp... in real numbers, it will lift the front tire 35", the same as mine.
Your K5 looks good on that car! Right where a K5 should be! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Doesn't the Air Force have some height requirements? I thought you would be taller /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

Longer wheel base and wider track width will do that. That is why an RTI score takes WB into the formula.

I got outrun by a YJ with a black diamond kit at a contest/show this summer. Not by much but he got me on the index. Of course I just about ran over the ramp and he wasn't as far up but that's why they adjust to wheelbase.
If you're keeping up at all with leaf springs, you're doing OK.

Yeah I know the Jeep coulda went higher. The guy that own's it never uses it /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif He's jjst getting into the wheelin scene so that is as far as he would drive up the car. He also ripped a tire a few weeks ago so he was worried about that too /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
