Mechanical Oil Pressure gauge fitting locations on 89 TBI

    Wow....sorry for the long title!!

    Since I have TBI, the computer uses the fitting next to the distributor for the fuel pump. Where are other places I can plug this mechanical cage in too?? There is a small plug that I know of right above the oil filter that looks like it could work.

    what size motor? if its the 350 theres a port right behind the intake manifold on the top of the block. i put mine there. I have a 87 tbi motor dont think theres much diff. good luck /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

    I put a tee on the block where the computer one goes and stuck my mechanical one under the hood (don't ask me why cause I don't know) /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

    mine is in that plug on my 88 K5 . thats where gm put them originally

    i have a carbed 350 it was is the convient to reach spot behind the distributer.

    You can use the plug by the oil filter, but they can be very stubborn to get out! But you can tee off the one at the back of engine.

    One above the oil filter is also 1/4", not 1/8" like most oil stuff on the engine. Just need the right 1/4-1/8 bushing.
