Wanted to add a deck to the front of the new garage, so we built one last weekend. I wanted low maintenance because I knew my dog would use it as the new toilet, so I went with the Choice Deck composite decking. Pretty spendy, but it looks really nice. Sorry for the crappy camera phone pics, but you get the idea.

Not robbing banks... I have been saving up for this garage thing for almost 3 years. The construction cost came in under bid and I saved some money here and there by not contracting stuff out and not doing everything I wanted right now. Just trying to hang on to enough now to get the new engine in my truck and I'll be good to go :waytogo:

That really is cool, Cheryle. All ya need now is an old Coke machine in the corner.

Keep us updated on the composite decking. I'm thinking about using it, too.

And the deck & garage booth look good.

Thanks! Choice Deck comes with a limited lifetime warranty and I thought it was fairly easy to work with. We used screws instead of nails and you can just tap the top of each hole with a hammer and they pretty much disappear. No splinters, no staining and no waterproofing. So far, so good :)
