ill be getting out soon and need to find a place to live when i do. AZ it is, Phoenix area. for those of you that have been to Marv's place thats the kinda deal im talking about... Hmm... maybe i should just move into Marv's place...

MARV!! can ya do me a favor and find a new place to live and let me live in yoru house while you pay for it.... "NO!?!" man, thats BS!! :haha: :haha:

in all seriousness... is that even a word or is the jack talking? anywho, Marv's area rocks and i like it a lot. i would even go as far to say i envy the guy.

anywhere between $900 for usually something with carports, to what i have been seeing around $1000-1600, for what you are looking for.

Thats a mortgage payment on a house right there :eek1:

Now my moms house was just north of Marvs on harmony circle , other side of the canal , she was paying 1200 for a 4 bedroom with a garage . Crazy .

A little farther east is cheaper , and no HOA's :D

I just bought a second house a month back, paid 127k for it in Chandler, 2 bed 1100 sq. ft. I practically stole it from the PO. iIt was built in 98 and it's going to be rented for $1325 in jan. Has HOA but it's in a nice cul-de-sac with a gate to the back yard..

I just signed a lease today for a 4br 2ba 1750 sf house in Gilbert for 1095/mo. It has an RV gate and a 2 car garage. I dont know where Marv lives, but this house is on Gilbert and Ray. The only thing that sucks is the HOA

    Must be....

if i can help it i refuse to live in a HOA... my goal when i get out will be to find something cheap. it will take me a while to get situated. then i will start finding something that is livable. then something to buy.

    thanks again.

Yeah, I've been in hoa's for 5 years and I HATE them. Im always the only guy on the street that does anything but park accords in the garage. Least my neighbors are cool, they stroll over with light welding jobs which I do for free and they dont complain about air tools etc. Welcome to Arizona.

My dad bought one of those new homes by the casino on Pima Mine rd . He already looks forward to the next house , regrets leaving the house in Tucson .

    I couldn't live with an HOA .

dang AZpinstriped. You lucked out. I've been looking in the mesa, gilbert area for awhile and can't find anything with an RV gate for under 1200 a month unless it's a POS house.

ehh, ill live in a POS house for a few months. done it before. if i cant find an RV gate then ill just find storage for the trailer. sucks that way, but is doable.
