Yes, Metal Ready is a must. I used the whole three step process on the floor of my K5 after the guy before me didn't clean the radiator fluid after the heater core leaked, rust everywhere. Por-15 is good stuff!!

I've used alot of por15. Most of the time I sandblast first but,The least prep I did was just scrape down a nasty frame with a scraper. It still stuck just fine. Never had a need for the metal ready.

88K5Jimmy-was your floor rusted really bad? My floor doesn't have any rust, so I wasn't sure if it needs the metal ready. anyone know?
