What would be a good price to pay for a set of (4) Mickey Thompson 15x10 aluminium rims ? They are in good shape, just a little dirty. He's asking $400 clams or best offer. What should I make for an offer. Sometimes I'm afraid to insult the person, although I want to get a great deal.

As long as they are in good shape, that's real good. A new set will run you like 170+ a rim for 15x10's. Hope this helps.

Depending on what model they are. For Classic I and Challengers that is a good deal if they are in good shape. If they are Classic II then you could get a new set for not much more.

O.k. here's the skinny on these rims. They are Classics and are in great shape. I offered him $350 for the set and he agreed. There is only one spot on one of the rims I have a question about....... There is a small section ( approximately 1" x 1/4" ) on the lip of one that is missing due to hitting a rock and was wondering if that should affect anything. I mean like sealing or tearing up the tire. Please let me know what you guys think. I appreciate the advice.

    Thanks.

I passed up a set of 15x10 Classic 1s a few months back for $200 a set of four (6 luggers) in almost new shape, so $350 is just an "OK" deal. Nothing earth-shattering.
