is there a way to create a form for word, or excel, where I can enter a date, and have the rest of the dates in the form change in corolation to the date I just entered?
for example. Say I know all reports are due 17 days after I get them. Can I just enter the date I recieve the form into space 1
    5-20-2006
and then it would automaticaly know that 17 days later is
    6-6-2006
    ?

Have never done it in a date in Word, but maybe you could create a macro that does that for you. MS Word Help should have the step-by-step for creating a macro.

Ah, in Excel, yes, that's the formula

In excel use the "NETWORKDAYS" function. This will skip all the weekends and also any dayes that you plug into a seperate sheet. Holidays are not automatically discounted with the NETWORKDAYS function. Only SAT and SUN
