Since I found out I'm getting promoted soon, it has opened me up for a transfer. Talked with my Chief of assignments Wednesday and the paperwork has been started to get me back to Illinois to Scott AFB, which is home for me. They wont try to transfer me until after I'm done working my TDY job in DC. Guessing sometime around the first of the year.
OR there is a very slight chance I could go to Asheville, NC. In either case, I should know within 2 weeks

If it's Illinois, I know a lady selling about 1000 acres of land /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

    Scott AFB?
If that happens, look me up when you get here. I know of a great place to go mudding about 1.5 hours from there.

I live about 20 minutes from Scott, that would be cool if you lived here, there aren't too many wheelers in this area.

They don't chase you. They give you beer until you lose your good judgement and break something. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

So I take it you made Tech. Congrats, I missed by 8 points this year. Guess I'll have to study up for next year. I'll be coming through St. Louis next year on I-70 probably around the end of February. My home town is about 2 hours east of St. Louis right off of I-70. If I come through, I'll let you know and maybe I can swing down 64 and see ya'. /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif
