I PM'ed Mr. Fox a while back about the Midwest Forum and he said we could set one up. I have a few questions for Steve and for everyone.

In order to have a forum, do you require a Club with dues and such? I was hoping we could start a forum to round up people for a club at a later date. I was thinking Arkansas, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma could be our user area. It seems like when we host events, these are primarily the areas people come from (with exception of Keith Deal of Georgia).

If we could start a forum without creating a club, I would initiate it right away. I feel it will be a great way to get people rounded up for future runs.

Can any of you give me some input? What about a moderator, could we choose a moderator after starting the forum?
Steve, give me some input if you have time.

The PNW gang has no dues, is somewhat formal, but that is not required. I'd set it up, get the people informed it is there, then take steps SLOWLY to get consensus on what everyone wants.

Neil, I'm all for it. Even the dues, I'm more than willing to pay it, too. /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

BTW, don't even think of nominating me to be the moderator!! /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

Yeah, a Midwest forum would be cool. I still haven't been able to get enough local interest to have a run here in Arkansas, so most of you guys would have to come from out of state anyway. A club is a good idea too, although regular meetings may be kind of difficult if everyone is several hours away.

I'm in for a forum. I'd even join a club too
<-- don't let the blue letters fool you /forums/images/icons/wink.gif I'm not that cheap

I'd join at the same time I joined CK5.

The only runs that I care to go on are with the other fullsize guys from here, so I might as well be in a Blazer club anyway.

I'd be up for it, the club and the forum. I'm with Kyle, the only runs I am really interested in are the K5 runs.

Club and events sounds good. It would be nice to meet some of you. Plus, having a brand specific run would be cool. Maybe get Magazine coverage?

You know I'm in! If we need to do the dues thing... that is cool too, as long as its productivly used. Moderator? Well shoot... I think the candidates are the dudes with the most posts from within the people who are interested! Which so far is Wes, you Neil, and myself (in order) /forums/images/icons/blush.gif I wouldn't mind so much... and I think that I have a pretty level head. But Wes is CERTAINLY around more than I am, and can assist better on most technical issues. Then again giving Wes a moderator title is kinda scary! JK Wes!

BTW - Steve, what do you mean by "Plus things are getting a little hazy?" That worries me a bit!

Enough talking about it- let's DO it.
A Midwest Forum is exactly what we need. I think we should include Indiana though-
(a-hem....Attica).
BTW, if anyone wants to meet in Attica, we'll be there this weekend. See my post about it.
