That would look funny! Why do you want to see that? Got the lift your itching to put on but no tires yet? I have pics of mine w/ a 6"sus. 3" body and 38 Swampers tho.

Your profile says P'cola, Im near Tampa. [IMG]

Something like that! With the cost of everything to do the lift, tires will have to wait. Plus, once I get the 35's, a re-gear is probably going to add to the cost. Sigh, the things we do for the love of our trucks!!

What gears do you have?? You may get away w/ stock gears for a bit. A guy from CK5 that lives near me is running stock gears and 35s.

I'd like to see your pics with the 38's, 6" susp. and the 3" body lift. Thats the balance I'm looking to make happen, do you have your fenders cut out?

HAHA I just got a flash back of my buddy's rig w/ a 12 in. lift 3" body lift and stock tires! He drove it like that for over a month after he swapped to a 14FF and 8 lug D44. Had to drive the truck and the place he got the wheels from screwed up several times before he got his wheels.

I believe that Steve (CK5 screen name is Burt4x4) had close to that combo for a while before he got his 35" SSR's. You might want to check with him.

    See Ya,

Fenders are cut a bit at the bottom by the prev. owner who ran 40 hawgs on just the 6". They are not cut very much, just the very bottom of the lips. I dont even know if the cuts show in the pics. I will have to E-mail them to you. Whats your address?

WHOA! 2:73s! That hurts. I think the guy up the road from me has 3:73s. Which is why he can get away w/ it. Its no powerhouse( dead stock 305 ) but it gets him up and down the road just fine. I think hell be looking into gears as soon as he takes it off road the 1st time tho.

Joe, thanks for the pics. It really doesnt make the tires look as small as I thought...I personally like fender space. I was also looking for a good method to remove the topper myself. Cool!

I've got those 35" Mickeys on now and the running boards are gone. Updated pics might be in by the weekend. Still have to finish the roll. It's fun getting in now and I'm 6'.

Got some Shop rims and tires that will only fit on the back. These came off My 70 Burb. 205x70R 14 YES 14 inch 6lug rims. hehehe. Once the 36's are on it this should get it low enough to clear the garage door. Thought about taking it to a burn out comp throw it in 2 low with the 4.10's and smoke them till they blow.

It's not my damn planet monkey boy!
