I know that I just got it all lifted and stuff, but I might end up selling it. I love my truck to death, but I can't afford to keep feeding it and building it. I really got in over my head when I went for the 9" and 38's. Mechanically there's nothing wrong with it, but I kind of lost interest in it. I'm giving myself a month or so, and get all the stuff paid off and then I'll see where I stand. I don't know what I would get, but most likely I'd end up in another truck.

You know, I've thought aboput selling my truck many times. Especially since I'm allways broke and could use the extra cash. I figure with the way the truck is set up, I could get $3000-$4000 for it. But it just isnt an option. I would hate myself for the rest of my life if I did that. Dont sell yours. Unless you get another first and swap all the good stuff to the new one. :)

Hey man don't do it! You 'll hate yourself. I've been down this rode a few times with my K5. I'm fortunate to have another car. So, when I'm frustrated with the rig, I just park it for a while and forget about it. Is that your primary means of transportation?

Buckeye is right. I have been there too. But I got smart and bought a $300.00 car and I am still driving it today. Very good car and dependable. Even has a V-6!!! Maybe you could do the same?

I have had thoughts like that too. When some of my friends buy really awesome cars, i always want something like it. Every time, i grow out of it in about a week when i remember how much I love my Blazer, and how much I will hate myself when i see another lifted K5 and remeber that I had that. Also think about how much money you have it it that you'll never get back....

The way I think of it is new car = payments of about 400/month plus insurance... Think of how much you could do to your blazer for 4800 a year!!!

Dude, you will regret it. I had a '77K5 in high school and sold it. It took me 5 yrs to get back into one and I was miserable everytime it snowed, rained, or I went hunting or fishing. If you're getting burned out, park it for a week or two and bum a ride or get some cheap other vehicle. I'm lucky enough to have a nice daily driver and my awsome K5. Sometimes I get fed up and it just sits for a month or so, then I get fired up and take care of it good for a few months.

I can sure empathize! Before I moved up here I had a garage and another car. Now trying to keep this on the road is simply hard to justify. Need it to get around, but can't seem to get things fixed, no matter how much I pay! My father even has offered to give me his 94 Forerunner with 75,000 miles just to keep me from whinning sometimes.

But do love this truck, had it since new and know I'll never have a love/hate relationship like this again. If I ever get rid of it ... it will only be temporary. Don't think they'll ever make a truck lika a K-5
