$2000. Guy says 20000 miles on them. The Dana 60/14 Bolt have 4.56's and a Detriot locker in the back. Is this a good deal???

Check them first and if they are what he says they are offer him $1500 if they are in good shape. Explain to them you need to do bearings and seals on both axles to make them reliable /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif Make sure It's a 60

I can find them here in So Cal for about $1500 so I would say no. Also if you do it make sure he gives you the spring hold downs for the Dana 60 because they are not that cheap.

I bought a whole truck at auction for 1800... it only had 2900 miles on it... the city of winters left the hood open and let the 6.2 seize.... I took it home put marvel mystry oil in it... it ran like a champ... sold the body and 6.2 for 1500 as parts... got the 14b and 60 for 300 and the gas to go down to sacramento....
these trucks are at auction regularly... the one I went to had two amulances... great runners with less than 10k miles... went for 4000.00... dual alternators dual a/c and one hella of a camper body!!!.... I would have bought one if I was smart because now Im trying to build one and it will be 4 times that when Im done

$2000 is pretty steep, even with a locker. The 4.56 carrier is nice becase it is above the split, but irrelevant if you ever planned to put in a detroit or ARB in the front.

My 14Bolt came on my blazer, but they can be scored around here for a case. I purchased my locker for apporox 225usd, and my Dana 60 for $300usd. By the time I regear, I still wont have even spend a thousand.

That said, not many in the states find Dana 60's for $300.

Local guy, no idea where the hell he gets this stuff. He's got a few complete m1008's, other K30's, and even a Blazer or two. Also has a duece and a half on the premesis /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
He said he ships Hummer rims+tires a lot, but I'm not sure he would ship axles...would kill a good deal anyway
