I'm pretty sure I've seen some of the military K5's driving around with a factory type rear bumper, except that it's notched out with D-rings where the frame is. Does anyone know a source for a setup like this?

those were exclusive to military vehicles are were called helicopter hooks. They were used for airlifting the equipment with a helicopter and harness. The whole vehicle was lifted from those 4 mounting points.

I have the setup you are looking for.
It came off a m1009 blazer.
I will try & get you some pics tomorrow.
Are you needing the bumper also ?

Just so you know the frt is the same between truck & blazer.
The rear is different, brackets are all different as well as the bumpers.

Yeah, I'd need the whole setup. I have a custom rear bumper right now and the factory setup is long gone. I'm very curious to see the pics. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
