    Miller

I think I can make that! One more day of engine "on de stick" and I should be able to start yank on the old one tomorrow.:D
Edit; What's the route? Flying J to HVSVRA, through Lockwood/Miller? Also, are they open with snow?

Are you here? Yea the peak of Miller is at 8500, I think. If there is any percip, there will be snow. Maybe they were before your time, the "Beach Blanket Bingo" movies with Frankie Avalon & Annette Funicello; surf in the morning, ski in the afternoon. Rent the movie if you can find it, it'll make you sick.:haha:

First serious rain or snow usually closes that trail. I'd call the Chuchupate Ranger Station b4 driving out there.

I forgot about the snow part. It's been pretty warm lately but we have gotten a little ran in the last couple days. I'll give them a call as it gets closer. If it ends up closed there are still a ton of places to go.

Two weeks to get a front shaft. Cost of a front shaft less than the cost to repair after Miller? And without front wheel pull, I'd leave the front tires at high pressure, IMHO.:D
