Another great time meeting new CK5 members and doing some fun wheeling. After loosing Brent and Rob right from the start(oops...sorry guys) we hit the trail. We started off up Lockwood Creek Trail We actually made really good time through a good portion of the trail and then Noah had to go and show off:haha:. He ran into some carb problems so up the trail he went BACKWARDS. This was on a fairly steep switch back part and there were a couple ledges he had to go over. It was quite the sight:bow::bow:. We then had a pretty much trouble free run down into the valley before lunch. Except right before wer got to the bottom. ALL the blazers made it through the tight squeeze and then who gets stuck the H3(which was the only time the thing had trouble). a little bit of stacking and a HiLift and we were back on the way. Had a nice lunch and cooled off in the stream. Then begins the Miller portion of the trip. This is a good steep climb up to the top and some nice little rock gardens. Also this is where my problems started. First was my oops, where all i could see was sky and a hood and had this funny floating feeling:doah:. Noah I hope you got this picture.
Back moving my temp really started climbing and the motor started vapor locking. This made some of the rock gardens a little challenging. Thanks to those behind me that waited while I cooled a little. The final blow was Noah decided he didn't need his side mirrors anymore and I preceding to pick up a piece of glass in my rear tire. Got to the top and Ira plugged it up for me--Thanks. It was a great day of wheeling and even better to meet everyone. Can't wait for next time.

I can send anyone the full size pictures if you want just let me know. I want to make sure to get all of yours.

Looks like a good time. I saw one of those the other day and wondered if that was a H3.

hay guys, I had an AWESOME time! my buds Eric, Jo, Tony, and Eric's dad Opaw had a awesome time too. everyone was way cool, it was great to meet and wheel with everyone.

Brent I have to say I very impressed with how the H3 did on the trail, and proud of you for driving it to the trail with only 200 miles on it and wheeling it like ya did, very cool man, and thanks for inviting me to ride SG in the H3.

my group went to Eric's cabin for the rest of the weekend. we just go back at about 5 or sunday. we realized WE have Eric's keys for his truck so he cant get home so I am driving back up there tonight and droping the keys off :doah: :doah: :doah: .

so I will load the pics I have tomorrow. cant wait for the next trip.

    Guys,

Great trip, lots of fun, no major incidents (dude, I feel so bad that my mirror ended up in your tire...what can I do to make it right? I had no idea...) and a cool bunch of guys. Watching the H3 on three wheels was a lot of fun. rdn2blazer, your buddies were hell a cool, thanks for bringing them in on it, can you see if you can get any of th evideo your buddy was taking? I would be especially interested in watching that one kook drive up the hill backwards...stupid carb...

Anyway, I'll work on the truck over the next couple of weeks adn be ready to go then...PM me an e-mail address for BIG pics...

oh please...dont worry about the tire. I pulled the tire today and took out the piece and pulled the plug and patched it from the inside. It's good as new. no worries
