I took my Datsun to Tuhuya on Fathers Day, and MEPR brought the Luv. I did my best to ram the 2WD Datsun up onto a boulder, and this is the result. Pounded the rim back with our biggest hammer, aired it up at the nearest gas station, and resumed our day of wheeling.

Then later I set the frame on the ground with my wheels in a nice trench.

I thought it was going to be a doable trail, with enough momentum. Unfortunately they dug out the trail since the last time I was there, and there were a lot more obstacles. I hit it hard anyway, don't know how many times I took a nose dive into a trench. :doah: Good thing the bumper and fender can be bent back into place by hand. :eek1:

Sometimes beating around in a 2wd is funner than a 4x4. Makes things more challenging.

Yeah, wasn't a bad little trip. MEPR kept cheating and putting it in 4 though. :eek1: Time to stop thrashing the Datsun and sell it, too bad. I'll miss it, but I tried my best to break it and failed, it's someone elses turn now. :(
