My heim joints are 3/4" which the sleeves fit 1-1/16" or 1-1/8" ID tubing. what thickness should I use???

the rear mount at the axle uses poly bushings and I'm thinking of trussing the whole thing anyways.

    anyone?
I'm thinking 1-5/8" tube with a .25 wall should be about right.

Keeping in mind that this is for howlin I would say go thinner. .25 is going to yeild a fairly heavy end product and if the time comes that someone on the east coast wants one you should probably include a small tube of ky.

I would just find some 1 3/8 .125 wall if your going to be doing some trussing. I used 1 1/2 .125 and with my lack of trussing and poor design it only bent about 5* or so.

The production ones will probable be the thinner wall with the option of going thicker. the wagon is getting the thicker ones to start with.LOL sine my trusses aren't made yet (solid plates that fill the triangle void that have HOWLIN' OFF ROAD cut into them I know /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

The anti wrap bar on my truck uses .375" wall x 1.5" DOM tubing...now with custom rock rash but still as straight as when I installed it. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
