Getting ready to do my body lift, i realized that i was missing 3 body mounts. And of course the Energy Suspension kit tells you to reuse the cone washer off the existing body mounts. Ok, but what if they were ripped off the truck??? [IMG]
I had been looking for just the washer, but lots of people (including 3 different chevy dealers) told me the bottom cone washer can only be purchased in a package with the entire body mount for that position. But i don't need the whole body mount, just the washer! So to make a long story short, if you have purchased new body mounts, but need a new cone washer or two, for the first 3 positions, the chevy part # is...

    GM# 14027472

    They are about $9 a piece /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Go to lmctruck.com and order part number #30-1354. They are $2.95 apiece. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

On the contrary. When I installed my 2" body lift with new energy suspension bushings I noticed how bad my body roll was because it went away!!

Really My Blazer feels much firmer and grips the curves way better (with the help of full time NP203 of course).

I have 2 maybe 3 like that on mine. I want to replace them, but the bolts are so rusty I'm afraid they will break off and then I'll really be screwed

I wouldn't worry about the bolts, I replaced mine with new grade 8 bolts a while back, they wre all rusted and a few were corroded beyond repair.

    Just a little bit....

Any time i would flex (a curb was enough) it would send the fan into the shroud and make this cool sound. I was missing 4 mounts. On the driver side i was missing the one under the seat and the one behind that one. On the passenger side, i was missing the one at the radiator and the one behind that one, so it allowed some pretty crazy flex /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Snapped 2 bolts off last night. What a pain. They snapped flush with the bottom, so i couldnt get a vice grips on them from the bottom. Ended up cutting a hole in floorboard from the inside, welding a nut ontop of the broken bolt, and turning it out SLOWLY. Still have the other one to get out yet too /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

I went through the same thing. I also had to grind the heads of the rear bolts off. It was horrible.
