It still rocks even if you:

lock up a t-18 tranny with no gear oil (scout)
    break a 10 bolt u-joint (ken)
spill gear oil every where (tim)
    sheer off hub studs (jeep)
bend a high lift jack (ken)
    break a 44 u-joint (steve)
    drove off the road (scout)
    break a shock mount (scout)
    get lost (all of us)
    faulty headlight(steve)
getting harassed by the cops because of headlight (steve)
    almost rolled (scout)
    bend a leaf spring (scout)
POS Hummers have to stop every 5 minutes for photo op
    break a 44 u-joint (tim)
    break a 10 bolt u-joint (watson)
    short the battery (scout)
    body damage (ken)
have to duck tape the door shut (scout)

    Great pic Steve!

The highlift jack was bent since Ken doesn't have a rear bumper and thats where he mounted the highlift. When he tried to make it up Widow Maker, he came down backwards hard on the highlift. The funny thing is the highlift still works even where it's bent!

Sounds like that Scout didn't enjoy that trip at all. Maybe he should get a K5 for the next time [IMG].

I bent my 48" hilift 90 degrees one day. I was stuck in some muskeg swamp right to the bumpers. I had to jack the truck all the way up to within 6" of the top of the jack to get some 2x8 planks under the tires. The truck shifted sideways a bit and the jack folded. Fortunately I had a second jack and it got me out. I took the bent one apart and drove the truck over the beam of the hilift and flattened it out as much as possible. It looks a bit of an 's' but I only use it for tire changes in the driveway now!
