Monday morning will offically be a complete month sense I quit smoking. Feels pretty good if I do say so myself. Blew my diet to hell with the candy, but what the heck. Suprisingly, I didn't pack on the pounds. I think I gained like 1 or 2 pounds. Next step for me is back on the diet. I've already cut out the white bread, but multi grain instead. Now I need too cut down on the soda pop and sugars. Going too go more veggies. No, I'm not giving up the meats, but will try too go with a leaner cut, and smaller portions. I know I really need too start exersizing, but that's kind of hard for me. I have no motovation what so ever.

Yeah buddy, good on you. If I want to quit someday, I hope it is as easy.

Drinking your calories is what get's you I think. What's a can of coke? 200 or so? 4 or 5 and that's half of what you should have a day. That's just cans too.

Don't know how many calories, but I normally drink 2 or 3 cans of PEPSI a day. I'm going too try too cut that down too 1 every other day or so. Also want too start cooking more healthier. Now if I can just get off my lazy arse and start exersizing.

Dont worry about getting skinny. Just keep off the cigs. They will kill you before food will. Everyone i know gaind weight when they quit. Enjoy food! Go for walks/jogs and excercize. 4 wheeling or a good fast car is also a good cure for what ails ya

Try switching to lemonade from Pepsi. It's cheaper, too. I did a while back and it's better, I guess. I think I feel better, but I made a lot of diet changes around then, so can't narrow it down to the lemonade.

    Good going on the smoking!

How about just quit drinking soda altogether and just drink good old plain H2O?

Another way to lose weight, if you're married, get a divorce. Trust me on this one. Its working for me. I've lost between 25-30 lbs. now. I'm down to a lean mean 200-205 lbs. at 6'1". Weightlifting is my priority now along with running, too.
