I should be there with Widowmaker providing we don't have the urge to wrench all weekend /forums/images/graemlins/hack.gif /forums/images/graemlins/weld.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grind.gif I've only wheeled my truck 3 times since I got it last year and I'm starting to get really itchy.

The pulling truck goes into the body shop that weekend. I'm supposed to be doing alot of the work myself to keep the cost down (buddy of mine works there), so depending on how much I get done Saturday. I may or may not be there....

I'm back in town ya'll, Wouldnt mind catching another 4x4 event / meeting up with everybody again.

The link doesn't seem to be working for me. I might need better directions or meet up with somebody that is headed out there. (slimlynn)

Looking forward to it! If the weather holds off that is.

I won't be able to make it :-(. I've been busier than I have ever been (installing lawns with a buddy on the weekends) and the pulling truck finally went into the body shop (been in primer for 4 years......and yes it will ALL have to be resanded), so that's where I will be (trying to keep costs down).

Slimlynn1 one of his friends, and I went to the hill climb. Yes it rained off and on throught the day but the hill climb went on. I took some picks but only of the "Over the top" run. I was either videoing with sombody else camera or It was raining a little to hard for me to want to use my camera. I'll post up a link to the pics and movies I did take though. About 80 between the two, mainly pit shots, some pics of the "Over the Top", and some movies of over the top.

As for track conditions, I think the trucks did pretty well with the wet ground / heavier dirt. I think all but one truck entered in the over the top event made it all the way up. That was alot better than the 1/2 that seemed to make it up the last time I went to the hill climb. Other than that in the Drags the right lane ended up being the faster / favored lane for sure.

Cool rigs: There were 3 sand rail looking rigs there that were fun to look at. One was a mazda rotory powered rail but it didnt even get off the start line. From the talk I heard it had some sort of centrifical clutch that wasnt working right / possibly got wet ... dunno!

Any way, it was fun, a little wet, nobody got hurt ( a couple truck did end up off the track but got centered up and up or down the hill safely, eventually)

I'll post up a link to the pics I took soon.
