more 465 & 205 questions

    Was the 465 in the later model K5's the same as the later model k30's? By this I mean the output shafts.

    Is the bolt pattern the same on the 400 205's as the np208's?

    What I want to do is get a later model 465 with the 32 spline setup and slap it together with a 400 version 205, has anyone done this? My brain hurts from searching and trying getting a straight answer.

    I have started to put all of this stuff together for a tech article. My goal is to make a database of transmission, transfer case configurations/bolt patterns/shaft setups, adapter lengths and bolt patterns, then list what will possibly fit with what.     As far as I know, the '82-on up 465 with the 32 spline shafts are the same as the '85-on up K30's using the 32 spline 465/205 combo. /forums/images/icons/wink.gif
