My mom just told me that my auntie has been diagnosed with Lung cancer. This anutie is my dad's oldest brothers wife.
She has it on her rib sort of. I can't exactly explain it.
This just isn't fair, first my dad, now my auntie.
Good thing is that it isn't as bad is my dad had. The doctors said it probably can be cured with radiation or kemo therepy. Shes somewhere in her 60's I think, and she was a heavy smoker all her life, just like my dad.
You guys were very kind and caring when my dad died, and supported me, so I just wanted to tell you guys this. Ck5 feels like my second family almost.
    Thanks for your time.

When my dad got lukemia it was very hard for me. they have since put him through chemo and has recovered to an extent but they have since found another blood related disease, that mave been caused by the chemo. they won't know til next week or so but the dr. did give him the okay to go to Europe where theyhave been for the last 6 weeks.

    Steve, just think of this:

Your aunt may have cancer...but cancer doesn't have her /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

Sorry to hear that. But, they can do wonder when it's caught early. Best of luck to her.

Try to get some time in with her if you can

There will be sorrow all through you life, try not to focus on it, just remeber all the good things about the dead

My Aunt also has lung cancer. It sucks, she's my mom's sister. I really don't want her to die, but one good thing is I'd never have too put up with my a$$hole uncle (Her Husban) ever again.

I want to see proof about the oxygen/smoking myth. Oxygen is not flammable.

No, oxygen is needed for combustion, but if you light a match in a room full of pure oxygen, the match will instantly burn up but the whole room won't blow.
