Does someone know the difference, why " J"-engines have from 135 to 155 HP?

I would like to get the best performance from my engine and have therefore the following questions:

    - How is the best adjustment of the ESP (Injection amount and timing)?
    - Is it better to have more or less injection pressure?
    - What is the best exhaust size? Because in Germany the end of the exhaust pipe may not be directed to the right side, I should create an one tubing system.
    - Is there a manufacturer for tuning cams?

    Has someone other ideas?

I don't know about the first three questions, but I believe Crane makes a non-OEM grind cam for our engines.

    Hey all.

Would you happen to have the specs on that 6.2L cam?

    Thanks

I believe Crane is the only company that offers a cam option for the 6.2L. A member of the Diesel Page is getting ready to run one. He sent his original cam in, they reworked it and sent it back. He hasn't got it installed yet.

From what I understand, a diesel doesn't benefit from cam changes like a gasser does.

I think that one can increase the possible rpm’s with an other timing.
Which me however really interested are the
effects of a modified injection point. What’s the effect, if I inject earlier?
