how ironic is this? i was on my way to work today, and also to get the corvette servo, and i went to take off from a stop light, and the 1-2 slipped into gear, and then went to manually shift into third...... and....... nothing. pulled over, no drive, low, or reverse. i have yet to put a guage on it to see if i have any pressure at all. there were no loud noises when it happened, although there is a sort of ticking/growling noise comming from the transmission. when we rebuilt it the pump looked good... is it possible for the pump or converter to all of a sudden let go? any idea? /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif by the way, it's in my 86 jimmy with a 700r4
    thanks

Maybe your pump went out and you have no pressure. How much fluid is in it?
