This is caused by the virus, sobig.F. Please read the following for more info.

    http://www.trendmicro.com/vinfo/virusencyclo/default5.asp?VName=WORM_SOBIG.F

The virus infected a computer which contains your email address. The virus will spoof the contact list and blast out to all email addresses in the contact list. If the destination email address is invalid, a NDR is generated and send it back to the email address in the From field (The spoofed email).

This means it's probably not you, but most likely someone else who has you in their contact list who has the virus.

Right. You will come up clean because YOU don't have the virus... someone else who has your email addy on their computer has the virus.

Shannon, I feel your pain! I've been getting the exact same bull$hit e-mails you have been getting. /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif

I downloaded another Norton system today and it didn't do jack. I did find 5 Klez worms lasst night thru Housecall.com free scan though.

I know I have a virus on my Norton system because it won't even scan at all for anything. I try to scan and 5 seconds later it says "no viruses detected in scan." /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif
