Not all rare vehicles are going to be collectors items worth a lot of money though.

is it GM made or aftermarket? I didn't bother reading. If it is GM made, then I'd say it will be a collectors item. Aftermarket? Nope.

From what I read, it's aftermarket....unless I missed something. The point I was trying to make was, who in the faawk would spend $44k just to save a couple dollars in gas....I mean, c'mon!! I $44k regular cab S10?!?:eek1:

You could buy a regular one for a few grand and drive it forever for less that $44,000, gas included.

GM made from what I read.

According to my math you could buy a 4 cyl version '97 S-10 and drive it 350,000 miles and still spend less than the ask price on that one.

Seriously...a 55 mile range? How useful is that? :screwy:

Lastly, the batteries are good for a whopping 5 years. I'm pretty sure you can't just grab a replacement from Wal-Mart either.

Collectible...doubt it. There was a reason they only made three hundred or so of those.

They were designed for in-town drivers, getting around large plant and Military bases. There were some problems that the seller failed to mention, and GM did try to recall all of them. There is a reason almost every vehicle sold uses an internal combustion engine, they are still the cheapest thing going.
