yup, sounds like i spun a bearing. was trying to limp her through the winter but she didn't make it.

luckily the builder i work for owns a dinky little used car lot. unlukily all he had i could use for work was a repoed 90 burb that has major electrical hackage and lots of neglected maintainance. so 2 grand later (finaced by him cause i piss pour) i have a lovely new headache in the driveway.

so, time for you guys to help out. i want suggestion on what to do with ol blue. here are her stats:

    the good:
    76 long bed
3/4 ton running gear (was 1/2 ton) new seal, bearings and ball joints up front, new brakes in the rear,
newer th350 that shifts great, fluid nice and pink,
    newer 208 t case
    new cab mounts
    new front and rear drivelines
2" lift with new Roughcountry shocks

    the bad:
    minor dents in every fender
    needs carpet
    stock steeles with pizza cutters
    bad motor

here is a pic before it was lifted. it has slightly better tires now too... slightly

so i can't decide if i want to swap the axles under my burb (keep in mind its a work rig and not a wheeler) part it out, sell it whole as is for like 700 bucks, or just cry in my beer.

i've already undertaken the last option just to be safe.

possibly. my biggest problem is time right now. have a remodel that has to be done by the end of march and have been busy bustin it out so i had to get some wheels quick. don't really have time to tear into anything right now. already been doing the flood lights in the driveway till 9:00 routine sorting out things with the burb.

Well if you do end up selling it let me know. I would be interested in throwing another motor in it and keeping it going.
