The time has come to replace my motor mounts...

Has anyone purchased mounts from LMC? I want to know if their mounts are the entire piece or just the rubber insert, requiring more work to split the shells and replace the rubbers.

There is an EXTREME cost differential between LMC and the local parts house, to the tune of $37 a piece vs. LMC's $9.95 a piece. The local parts are the entire piece, hence my question. I'd be a fool to pay 4 times the amount for the same part!

Thanks in advance for your help!!

I can't answer your question, but I do want to say it's no big deal to open the motor mount.
I bought Energy Susp. poly inserts and use a drill bit to drill out the rivets.
    It was really easy.
    Just to let you know.

I bought some at Autozone a while back that where the complete shell and insert and they were only $9 apiece. Call around to some other parts houses, sounds like the one you talked to is a little high! [IMG]

I was just looking at these in LMC, so if you're talking about the poly mounts they are ONLY the poly and you will have to use your old shells.

Unfortunately, that $37 price tag was AutoZone. Checker was $35 and NAPA says they don't have them. The dealer wants $99 a pop...hope they buy me dinner before they try to screw me!

Not the poly's...the regular rubbers, listed on page 95 of my most recent Suburban catalog, not sure of the page in the Blazer variant.

It's the page that diagrams and lists the motor mounts with the rear motor and transmission mounts.
