The motor is skipping in the 1000 to 2000 rpm range, and tehcheck engine light comes on then when everything warms up it all goes away. I have an 89 with the TBI. Cap rotor and wires were changed, the timing was chcked and the plugs are platnum so they should be fine.any ideas? /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

hook up a scanner (or jump the diag. terminal) and READ THE CODE...this will help ou narrow it down...Could be IAC, EGR, O2....
