mounting stereo in dash??

    I have a din style CD player I want to put in the 76. When you guys put them in, Do you put the steel cage to the face bezal?? or to the actual dash and trim the face plate out to fit over it??

    If your installing it in the factory location, Yes the cage should go all the wat to the metal dash for more support and also if you need to remove the bezel, then you don't need to remove the head unit. So trim the bezel to fit around the head unit face plate. Although I have installed as such:

    You can't get that headliner anymore for now until the origanal Company sells the fixtures and molds.
