move pics to different folders?

    Ok i think i am seriously an idiot, i have a million pics on my computer and i am trying to organize all of the and delete the extras, i have them in folders from downloading them off the camera and i cant figure out how to move individual pics into different folders so i can organize them. i have windows xp on my computer please help!

    Open the folder that the picture you want to move is in and open the folder that you want to move it to. click and drag the picture and drag to the new folder.

    ... or right click/copy then right click/paste into the new folder. This way works better for moving several pics at one time in a group.
