    IS AN AWESOME SITE.

John Preston is #1 for kills by one character in a film(Equilibrium, played by Christian Bale, one of my favorite movies).

As soon as I saw this I realized I knew a film with a LOT of kills that was not on there list and had not been counted in their forums.

So I broke out the copy of Ultraviolet (mmm Milla beav...) at around 10:30pm. I watched the film, fast forwarding from fight scene to fight scene, 1/2 speed through each fight scene. I counted, seperated, counted again, seperated some more, by scene, by weapon, by character.

In the end, by my count, Ultraviolet is the #3 Movie for Overall kills on their website(taking the place of Equilibrium). It had 253 Kills by my count! And Violet Song jat Shariff(Milla) is the #1 KILLER!!! With 205 kills all to herself!! That ECLIPSES John Preston. I wrote all my findings up in a long ass post and posted it on their forum. Hopefully someone takes it seriouslly and helps me recount(there are some VERY difficult to count scenes, one containing by my count 62 kills ALL by Violet!!)

And yes I am one hell of a movie geek... Its 12:13am now and I am going to sleep...

Ultraviolet is ... ultraviolent :D I got that just about the same time I got Aeon Flux ... Charlize Theron actually does well, IMHO ... and I donno about total kills, but she certainly shoots her fair share :)

That's pretty much exactly what I got from the movie description.

Does the killer have to be a human? Can it be an animal or an Alien or something? This may be the perfect thing to nerd up to while the wife and kids are out of town.

good question. Seems no one on that site has counted yet. I seem to recall(its been months since I last watch NBK), that there weren't very many people actually killed in the movie, it was just the fact that they were such crazy killers that made the movie. Not to say that there were very FEW people killed either, haha.

I'm gonna kick back and watch Equilibrium right now myself.

As for the "alien" thing, I don't know. There is an FAQ in the forum about what counts. The head guy posted in my thread and informed me that 27 of my kill counts do not count. Even with those removed the count is still massive.

there is the "basics of bodycounts"

Yeah only 2 things above Equilibrium are 2 of the LotRs films.

I was lucky with mine. Ultraviolet is very room based. Scenes go from room to room. So in many cases all I had to do was count however many "guys about to die" were in the room(often aided by quick overheads of all the people in the room) and then watch Violet kill them all. Hardest part was seperating the few deaths not caused by Violet and keeping an eye for any further guys joining in.

Oh and if anyone wants to try this and has a copy of Ultraviolet, PLEASE count the "Mortal Sciences Library/Gas Guards" scene. Its HARD to count. I got 24 guys in the first wave, and 38 in the second wave. But I am certain that is innaccurate. The second wave of guys is damn near impossible to count. You can't tell if you are seeing hte same guys dying from different angles or what, its crazy.

Since their count of V for Vendetta is incomplete and I happen to have it within arms reach I'm counting it now...

hmm came up with quite a different count vs what they have up as of now...

    V for Vendetta: 33 definites

They have 45 on the site now, but that is their theatrical count I guess.
