well folks, i will be in so cal tland in about 4 months. moving back to camp pendleton. the one place in the world i dont want to be. california. anywho, i am not sure if ill be bringing the blazer or not. it STILL isnt running, and wont be for an even LONGER time now. no big deal because i should have a ton of money from when i go to iraq. anybody in the oceanside area know of good storage units i could keep and work on my blazer in? phone numbers would be great.

u can probably keep it at the autohobby shop. On North Island they have stalls that have cars in them that have been there sice i got here. Its probably not that much money either.

nick, it cost way to much to do that. almost as much as a storage unit. but then in the storage unit i can keep my tools, and i know nothing will get stolen and if it does it will be covered by insurance.

It might be cheaper for you to get BAH and use it to buy a motor home and live at Lake Oneil or the Del Mar beach. Why pay for rent and have nothing to show for it in the end? I know a guy that's doing this right now.

BTW I'm stationed at Camp Pendleton right now.

well i think i found a place. a few friends of mine in riverside. comuting is no big deal for me. san diego would be ok, but traffic would suck. riverside isnt much better, but i may be able to keep my blazer there until i deploy.

I live in Murrieta and it would takes me about 35 minutes to get to the air station on Pendleton. That's on my motorcycle. In a car it takes a little longer, depending on traffic.
