How long do your plugs last with a MSD ignition box. One of my freind said his only lasted 6000 miles with AC delco's and a DUI coil.

I don't know exact mileage, but my plugs last just fine with my MSD coil, box, and wires. I run Champion Truck Plugs gapped to .057. I have had the same set in there since my box was put on over a year ago. I do take my plugs out every 4-5 months, and clean and regap them just so my truck runs the best it can. One of the reasons I run truck plugs, is they are designed to take more abuse then normal plugs. They have lasted just fine for me, and they are still running strong after a year with my box installed.

My Chevy isn't broken, its just out of gas.

i have the msd 6t and blaster 2 coil, taylor wires and rapid fire plugs. i take my spark plugs out every 6 months and clean them and i have the same plugs for 38000 miles. none of my msd systems every shorten the life of any plugs or wires. but if you have a bad plug or wire you will find out very soon when the system is put in.

I haven't had anyproblems with the plugs. Now the cap and rotor are a different story. All the MSD's that I have used seem to eat up more caps and rotors from the higher coil voltage.
