MSD- OFFROAD ?????

    Ok got that box and hook it up to points and have no spark...
    So here goes,I have power at the main wire ,power at the 12v ign. the neg. on the coil wire from the box is good (tested it)so I should have some power to that orange wire from the box with the key on right.....
    Here is how I have it hooked up.
    power wires to the batt.
    orange wire to the + on the coil
    black to the - on the coil
    points wire to the white wire from box
    that (I think it is a resitor on the back of the coil holder ) wire to the + side of the coil
    Then the small red wire to the fuse panel that is 12v with the key.
    And the last wire (grey) to the tach...
    Any thoughts ....

    What do you have set up for a swtich to turn it on like ignition source.

    I went to the fuse panel and I think it was a labeled a acc. terminal that was off and on with the switch...

    Souds like everything is hooked up right. you might call msd tomorrow and ask them or call a shop that sells them.

    You might want to PM Philly87. He is an MSD tech, and can probably tell you where you went wrong. He has been very helpful with my problems with my ignition.
