Alright, so this is still a long ways off but looking at a Caddy specialist's page, a .060 over, 8:1 compression rebuild using:

Standard off the shelf cast ‘74-’76 replacement pistons
    True Roller timing set
    OE HEI distributor
    Moly rings
    OE camshaft
    new lifters
    120cc heads (‘74-’76) (what I've got)
    Clevite rod and main bearings
    reconditioned OE pushrods
Straight 45° valve job (OE valves)
    Durabond cam bearings
    Our light duty street springs
    OE manifolds and carb

    netted this: 493.5 Lb-Ft at 2600 RPM and 302.1 HP at 3600

I think even with a bone stock motor that hasn't been opened since the mid 70's, this baby is gonna be a parts breaker. :D

possibly more torque. I know some Buick 455's came stock with torque numbers in the 500's.

Definetly part breaking terrain when added with large tires.

I want one in my burb attatched to the 465/205 . I think the flywheel is the biggest issue . Should turn those 42 inch swampers with ease but I think the 10 spline trans output shaft , the 205 10 spline input and coupler wouldn't last very long .

Yeah well, there are a few of us who don't steal the motors out of the local Frito's trucks.

Besides, I like my motor to look bigger than my diff. pumpkin anways. :p:

Do yourself a favor and ditch the stock intake in favor of an Edelbrock Performer. The difference in just the intake swap is huge.

Might, might not, we'll see. Visibility is gonna bring the suck already. Also, the dyno tests I saw lost 15 ft. lbs. down low from the intake swap.

Granted, but from what I know Caddy's are less than 100 lbs. heavier than an SBC.

Hey Stomper, how much lift would it take for my truck to fit the "skull" curb feelers?

They should work fine with the lift and the 35" boggers you're running right now.:p: Of coarse you could always mount them higher if the drag all the time:rolleyes:

Retarded story that I have to tell because I'm really bored:

I was taking my blazer to a parade before I cut it up and I didn't feel like fetching my trailer and loading it up so I just took back roads. Once I was in town some kid with a beater on bald 235's pulled up next to me and was completely awestruck and asked me if they were 33's. :haha:
