Mud in engine

    yeah i found an 1/8" of mud in my oil pan. can i save my motor? i havn't heard any knocking coming from it. well yeah thanks.

    are you sure its mud and not water in your oil..... that is the colour of mud and really thick. it gets lumpy and everything. i cant se any to get mud on enging unless you put it in your oil filler tube.

    Well, if you would keep your truck out of the mudpit at Hollister, you probably wouldn't have this problem...........

    oh yeah i take back not hearing any knocking. i'm checkng my bearing this weekend. well if i need a rebuild atleast i can do a 383.
