    Muffler\'s

I am planning on putting on the dynomax dual manifold back kit on my blazer. My question is with the muffler's. Do i buy the strait in strait out or the one's that are offset.

    Thanks

they should know, if its a kit??? I put just the mufflers on my truck and bought the offset ones.. with the existing pipes, it worked well.. I would probably get the offset ones that way you have more flexibility as to where to put the muffler.. mine would have tended to hit the driveshaft with center in center out mufflers...

My Dynomax Super Turbos are offset........ Are the two styles different internally or are they just used for different applications?

I looked it up on Jegs and they seem to be for the same application. One is the super turbo and the other is the ultra flow. It seems like the Ultra would make more power becuase it is a strait through design (and it's right at $70 more). I'm going with Flowmaster because i love their sound.

Just so you know, Super Turbos have about 20% more flow than Flowmasters. I chose them because I can use the higher flow rate when I tow.

And I personally think Flowmasters are a little obnoxious- Of course, I'm an old guy[IMG] and after running heavy equipment all day the last thing I need is to hop into a truck that's louder than my backhoe!!!!!

I'm running the same kit on my '85. You want the offset mufflers.
