Well. it's finally done.. just need to work out the rear driveshaft issue.. Blew the rear u-joint on her maiden voyage. So I'm thinking of having Austin Drivetrain cut the end off my driveshaft and weld on a 1-ton u-joint end.. then rebalance it.. all for $150.00 w/ 2 day turnaround.
But anyway.. here are the pics.. The weather didn't cooperate with me taking pics..

I'm on the same cloud as you Rocko.. I finished on friday. I love looking at the truck and seeing the 8 lugs and monster axles underneath. I think I'm going the same route as you with the driveshaft. I still got some kinks to work out before I can actually go wheeling though.

The driveshaft thing is a little disappointment.. but i think of it this way.. at least no other damage occured.. like the driveshaft completely letting go and breaking the tail end off my t-case..
But I just disconnected the rear driveshaft and drove it home on the front axle..
Those 4.10's are wicked.. I smoked my front tire's from a dead stop.. lol .
Can't wait to get the bug's worked out.. then test it out.
Yep.. that's your Jeep Kyle.. or your wife's jeep.. wish I had found the pics sooner.. but the roll was MIA..

Hahaa... [IMG] That was my first test as well. 4.10's are much better than 3.08's, especially with 35's!

LOL, you got it right, that's the wifes [IMG]

I just get the honor of driving it on occasion.

I hear ya on the MIA deal too, It's about a once a year deal where me and my wife find all the rolls of film we had and take them to town to get developed. You never know what you'll find on them either [IMG]

    Oh man.. that's too funny..

As for the gearing.. I went from 3.73's to 4.10's.. didn't expect to notice that much of a difference.. but I sure did.. [IMG].

    Rocko,

It really looks great. I am just a little envious, I am still in the process of sandblasting and painting my 14B/D60 and have a long ways to go before being finished. Finished............who am I kidding, they are never finished.

Well I hope to join you this coming weekend. Hopefully my new perches will be here along with the CV driveshaft.
You all think I can smoke my 33's with 4.56 gears?[IMG]

    ftn96... heck yeah you'll be able to smoke 33's w/ 4.56's..
I just hope I can get my driveshaft issue straightned out..
Does anyone know if any other type of driveshaft will work with my setup besides a Blazer shaft?

    Wes..
No .. no Dana 60.. the 44's are plenty strong enough and still affordable..
What's next? The 89.. upgrade it's axles.. [IMG]
Bigburb.. Dunno what happened to the 447 ujoint.. the 1350 series of the u-joint held up fine.. The 1-ton side's are the one's that let go..
The driveline angle's were dead on.. no serious angles.. the pinion is tipped toward's the t-case..
I'm wondering if my shaft's yoke ear's were out of round..
    I'll never know.. lol..
I'll just replace or have my original driveshaft repaired.. New shaft's are toooooo Damn expensive..
I even wrote High line driveangle a email... and never heard back from them with pricing... or my options..

  16. Front CV shaft was 367 with 1310 front joint and 1350 CV with him reworking t=my flange, so I would think a rear shaft would be in that price range or less. I never had a problem with my 14 bolt swap on my 88 K5, seams weird that yours blew. Take it back to NAPA and try again !!
