*Rear disks probably not working as well as they should. Will be installing proportioning
    valve.
*Very slight deathwobble. Will be putting steering stabalizer on.
    *Cables for E-Brake on order.

    Next:
    1)rear bumper/spare carrier
    2)Front winch bumper and winch
3)rollcage - integrate floor shifter and gauge/switch panel into cage
    4)bigger gas tank
    5)skid plates
    6)engine - 350/Whipple or 383 MPFI. Any suggestions?

Done? Hell no!!! Just getting started!!!

The Blazer started out in life as a border patrol vehicle in Texas - the light was on when I bought the truck.
The light is useful once in awhile but lotsa fun all the time!

There will be mount points on the pillar on both sides of the cab.

I've installed one of those spotlights on my '75. It's pretty easy to install. Mine came with a template, and a special bushing to hold drill bit exactly in the center of the fitting as you (gasp!) drill the hole through the A-pillar. I've got a Smittybilt roll cage that I need to install, and it looks like the control for the spotlight is going to be very close to the upright support though. [IMG]

Don't let my wife see that picture. That's what she want's her 79 to look like including a 80's front clip. Hard top sanded down smooth and painted to match. Then redo the interrior in black for the whole Darth Vader look. Minimal lift. 33's.

Really - the paint is not that good but thanks. Got my own buffing setup when I did the clear coat remove/color sand project. Hood came out good, still need to do the roof. But now that I can't see it....

What do y'all think about the rest of it? I know, pretty standard options around here :) Nothing special.

Pinion seal still leaking. Having a hard time with shops around here. Most shops - 'blazers don't have 14 bolts.....' Click, I hang up. One shop said they will do it if I take it out of the Blazer... WTF??? Seems like it would be much easier in the truck since you can sit up underneath it.... 4WPW actually said no problem, 45 minute job. But they are far away. I might go buy the socket so I can do it myself.... If not I will be heading back to Chico this weekend to do the following: steering stabalizer, level and keep lifting 'til no more rub, e-brake cables, 2lb residual valve to get more performance out of rear disks plus a few other things. What do you think of 1" body lifts? Check out the post I made in the ORD section.

Dave...I really like the 1" ORD body lift. It gave me just a little extra clearance the easy way. The kit is very complete and good quality too. I replaced the stock body bushing with poly mounts at the same time.

As for your Blazer...very sweet! Quite a list of mods on that beast too! Very stout...[IMG]
