wow, thats heavy. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif Not bad, especially considering how heavy the axles and junk are.

    Could be considered reasonable.

I haven't had mine weighed in a while, but last time (with 1/2 ton axles, 35's, top installed, and 1/2 tank of fuel) it was 4950 Lbs.

That was on a set of 4-corner scales at the local speed shop.

I'd be interested to see what I've "bulked up" to now that it's on one-tons and 38s. /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

I think that is pretty good.

Friends of mine have been nearing 7000lbs... but that is with a big block, 205... 454... 1-ton.... 44s... etc.

4400lbs in my 84K10 with two full tanks of gas, two batteries, and an assortment of tools/fluids. If I have only about a quarter tank in one tank, the bedmat removed, no tools and no truck box in the bed, no tailgate, and one battery I'm down to just under 4000lbs.

Then again, my truck has had a couple-three hundred pounds of junk stripped off it not including rust.

I weighed the Jimmy last spring and it was 5500lbs. Thats with me not in it, 1 ton axles, 37's and American Eagle 589's, bumpers by BigJ and 4x4 Iron, the top was on and a 1/2 tank of gas. The only thing that wasn't in there was the rear carpet becasue of the rhino linning.

I am curious to see how low the weight can go after swaping for a truck tailgate and loosing the top, rear seat, carpet.
