It's just about time to replace the tires on my 83 6.2 1/2 ton. I know lots about AT and MT tires but very little about plain-jane road tires....

I need something with a semi-aggressive tread because of our winters up here, but I'm not sure that an AT tire is justified with a 2WD. I also do a little bit of towing so I need a tire that won't wear out too fast.

    Suggestions? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif I need 235/75/15s.......

We just put a set of 235/75/R15 Goodyear AT/S's on the Jeep a couple of weeks ago. Fountain tire had a buy 3 and get one free sale. They are aggressive for an AT but ride quiet and are supposed to wear good. By the looks of them they'd do really well in the snow. I know for a fact they are excellent in the rain, they borrowed the aqua tread tech for the tread design.

There are definitely enough sipes and edges for snow though...check em out.
