My 305 Exploded!!!!

    Well, it finally happened. The old and tired 305 threw a rod. Wait, it gets better! I went to replace it, checked the oil (which I had checked earlier that morning), and she was bone-dry! After a little looking, I noticed a hole the size of my pinky finger at the top of the oil pan. I heard the explosion when it happened, but mistaked it for a noise coming from a passing train.

    The good thing is that I purchased a 383 from Beck Racing last week to replace the 305. Gotta wait a couple of weeks before it arrives though, and it cost a pretty penny.

    It's all fun and games until somebody gets knocked up, down, or out...
