First of all I want you guys to know that I'm just like all of you.
Please don't hate me but I'd really like to sell my house so I can end up with
a place here and somewhere warmer. Today is June 10th and it's supost to
snow 2-3" tonight. I need a warmer place to escape to.

I built my house to sell and it was done right. It's a great place but is just
too much for us to keep. If your a realtor, bring your clients to us and make
your money. If you have some friends or family that are looking for a place in
the mountains of Colorado, this is the place. If you bring me a buyer, I will
    make it worth your time.

I haven't bragged in the past because as I said above, I'm just a regular guy
that got lucky. Good things really do come around. Well, I'm coming clean and
letting you guys see my house in case one of you knows someone that is
looking for this kind of place.

Anyway, you can see my house at www.localschoice.net
BTW, I need to change the price on this site to $2,195,000 (recently reduced).

This goes for Steve Fox too. It might also help the site if he sells my house
and makes the big bucks . I'll also buy a lifetime membership.

Thanks guys and gals. Remember it can be sold by owner or realtor.
Better deal if the buy it just through me.
    Dave

Super nice house. But just to poke a little fun.... Isn't it time to upgrade your monitors?...... But on the upside, I think that is the only thing I could poke fun at you for. You've made a fantastic home. Good luck. If I had that kind of money, I would get it. I can only imagin the wheeling available in your back yard.

If I could talk the Sheriff into giving me a (tremendous) raise, I would buy it. :D

I would pass the word but I don't know anyone looking in that price range.

Ummm, I don't get it? :dunno:

Thanks guys, yes it is an awesome place and I have enjoyed every min.
of living here. It will be VERY hard to walk away from but I spent 20+
years growing up in Mich. and 20+ years in the mountains and now it's
time to spend at least 20+ years in the sun or on an island.

I'm not giving up on the mountains completley by any means. I've built a
great bussiness up here that cranks. I just need to spend some of my time
having fun before I get too old to enjoy life. We only live once and I plan on
doing it right. To me, since I built it to be somewhat, what others would want
and have had it for sale for a while, it starts to feel like your just renting it.
We keep it spotless and are always doing things to make it even better but
it gets old quick when you don't know if someone is going to want to come
see it at a moments notice.
I want a place where we can have a place our way without wondering if someone else will like it.

Anyway, if you know of anyone that is looking for a horse ranch like this,
send them my way. BTW, the only horses I take care of are in my Chevy.

If I don't sell it soon, I might just make it a time share and keep some of the ownership myself.
Sorry, no trades unless it comes with cash too.

Funny you should say that :D , when we got married 25 years ago,
we were living on food stamps because I couldn't get a job (over-quailified my arse!, just give me a job!) for 6+ months.
I've owned a mobilehome too so you can still consider me trailer trash and dam proud of it.

How about a rent to own. I'll pay $1500/mo until it's paid off :D

On a serious side, If I had the $$, I'd gladly buy your pad. One of the nicer and definately a dream getaway. If I hear of anyone looking for somethign like that, I will gladly head them your direction. Don't really care anout the "reward", but would like you to be able to sell your place.

    Best of luck in selling!!!

    Yep.
I'll miss wheelin up the hill instead of taking the road like I did a couple days ago when my buddy from Moab was over here  .

Thanks Paul, longshots are a good thing. Sometimes they help people see just what they are looking for.

    Sorry Jake,
I don't think Cal is what I'm looking for. Selling the house might buy me some time to do a long trip out there though. Maybe race K5's in a mall parking lot?

    (over sports cars that is.....)

Shoot, you'd crap yourself if you could see what $2,000,000 can buy you here... hill country views aren't that bad and you'd be living next to George Strait and David Robinson. Still some hills, but not as cold, if that's what you're looking for. Not to mention plenty of good-ol-boys that like to offroad and wrench.

Dave, sounds like Vegas would be a perfect place for you!

It's always warm here and you are close to Cali and Utah which have some great wheeling along with the local Las Vegas area.

Beautiful home, I hope you are able to sell it soon, so you can relax and enjoy your good years :)

    Thanks again guys.
The Las Vegas sounds fun but remember, I've been up in the mtn.s for about 23 years and I think I would melt in the 110-130F summer.
We have actually been looking in the Fort Myers Fl. area for a couple years now. The water front property has just about doubled since we started.
I want our 2nd place to be in the sub tropic (below Tampa) and near the water because I plan on owning a boat and spending some serious time on the water. The temperatures stay cooler with a ocean or gulf breeze.
If things work out, here is what I hope will happen:
Sell the ranch and no, I will not pocket 2M. I owe a ton of cash on it.
Buy a normal place here with a big garage so I can run my biz.
Buy a normal size or small place in Fl. or on a island.
Buy a boat like this one-
    [IMG]
and if I'm lucky, have something left over, maybe.

    Dave,,,,,

What about all the customers and company you spent all that time ,,,and all those years building??? And that place,,, all that time etc, that its going to go nothing but up in price, as time goes by. Id seriously consider not selling it. It looks like you spent all that time creating a life for your family there. I am going to change my opinion and say stay man. Tuff it out. :)

Mabey sell it when your 65 or something. :) ..Jacob :)
