I told a few people that we were at the 4Wheel Jamboree at Canfield, OH. Well they had a Rock Crawl set up there and myself and a few of my friends competed. Well the only one with lockers was my brother and he actually qualified for competition on Sunday but could not make it do to some rearend breakage.
Well the breakage was this. He is somewhat a little new to the wheelin world with a Blazer. His first wheeler was a 98 TJ and he sold that after a year and began build a custom Framed YJ. Well he lost interest in that and he always like my Jimmy so he bought an 86 Blazer.

His specs are pretty much the same as mine, except when he was build the YJ he was going to use fullsize axles and he had a 10 bolt and 12 bolt sitting there with a True Trac and a Detroit with 4.56's already installed.
Well here is the link to the page he is on:

http://www.truckworld.com/Shows-Events/00-canfield-jam/00-canfield2.html

Also on this page are, at the top, our friend Mark Hughes in his 85 1/2 ton Chevy with 38.5 Boggers and another friend, Shawn Swogger, in his 74 CJ5 at the bottom of the page.
Myself and my ffrined Ryan, with a 76 K5, competed and had pictures taken but didn't make it into Truckworlds coverage. Too bad to, because I had my CK5 stickers on!!!!

Enjoy!

P.S. I have more pics of the Rock Crawl on my site below in the pictures section.

Plus usually I am a trial maker/pusher/leader so I get the brunt of the damage! LOL

Hey now!!!

We sort of named his Blazer "Papa Smurf" Since it is blue. So he would probably sign on as that. He doesn't get on the computer much anymore. He usually just gets info relayed from me.

The least you could have done was put a CK5 sticker on your brothers truck!! [IMG]

C'mon Mike, go bend his arm some, the more K5 owners the better! I've seen the pics of his truck, pretty cool. I'm glad to see he saw the light and got a K5. [IMG]
As well as good taste in vehicles I see that exploding diffs also runs in the family!!![IMG] j/k!
Hey you could always slap a sticker on while he's not looking! [IMG]

LOL, His diffs didn't explode, he bought the bare housings off of me( I was going ot give them to him but he insisted on paying) and put gears and lockers in them.

I think I may just order him up some stickers and make him put them on!

Mike,

The pics look great. Looks like you took some tough lines that would test any 4x4.

Ya, I was his spotter and took him through some good stuff and then his rear axle twisted and bent his spring pads so he didn't show for the competition on Sunday.

Hey MIKE! Met one of your buddies out at Webb on Saturday.... Actually, my buddy Brian pulled him back over after he flopped his Jeep, I got stuck twice on the way in and once on the way out Sunday. Had so much mud in the r.f. wheel coming out sunday, it looked like a hubcap!

Well, I'm sure we can get together sooner or later and run Webb. My buds are already talking about a daytime run. One guys killed 2 trannys in 2 weeks out there...42's and a LARGE right foot! Seems to be more fun whhelin' when you have some daylight to judge the holes. Get your frontend fixed?

Haven't got the 44 fixed yet. Hopefully soon though, funds are a little short right now.

But I would like to meet up with you and run Webb sometime soon!
